These courses belong to the Outpatient Patient Management System. Training to familiarize the participants to manage patient comes for clinic appointment and visit to Accident and Emergency Department. Similar to the Inpatient Management sub-module and the Accident & Emergency sub-module, the OP sub-module would also be able to avoid a patient having two patient IDs. The system is also able to manage patient queues based on criteria able to be set using the system’s parameter. 

Based on the input provided to the system as transactions, the system would be able to output queries, reports and statistics. There are a number of built-in reports available in the system. The access to these reports can also be restricted to any criteria based on users’ requirement. 

Billing module is categorized based on categories of patients as below ;-

- Inpatient / Daycare Billing

- Outpatient / Emergency Billing

Outpatient / Emergency Billing module works fine only if the Outpatient / Emergency Billing module is implemented. Basis of Outpatients / Emergency Billing is the Outpatient Visit/Emergency Visit for a clinic or an Emergency respectively. These define the various parameters required for billing purposes.

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to understand the total solution of the Outpatient Management System and Outpatient Billing / Emergency Billing Module.



Outpatient Emergency Treatment Pricing and Charging System

By outpatient charging subsystem, it collects medical fee from  outpatients and send prescription information to outpatient pharmacy. It supports initialization: hospital department number, doctor name list, and dictionaries about charging items, drug names, specification, charging categories, medical fee categories, etc.

Charging methods: Self-Paying, GL (Guarantee Letter) Holder, or Medical Insurance. Paying methods: cash or credit card. It's provide outpatient charging reports (daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly).  Based on treatment visits, it can charge fixed fee or exemption from fee.

Outpatient Doctor Workstation

This sub-module to familiarize participant with the transaction related to doctor outpatient work flow. It's provides functions for doctors’ treatment of out-patient records, prescription, treatment, surgeries and other diagnosis and treatment activities. It also supporting doctor’s inquiry of patient’s previous treatment information and the results of examination.

It's provide statistical inquiry and analysis; free bed inquiry, medicine inquiry, diagnosis and treatment item inquiry, automatic calculation of treatment expense, patient expense inquiry and statistics.

Outpatient and Emergency Patient Registration System

This sub-module to familiarize participant with the transaction related to Outpatient and Emergency Patient Registration work flow. It's provides functions registration, modification and maintenance of outpatient and emergency patient basic information.

It is also supporting multiple registration modes (including quick registration and entire registration), supporting registration of the patients with multiple identifications, such as medical insurance, socialized medicine, medical service on one’s own expense, the hospital and cooperating units, and also supporting the registration expense settlement and statement statistic functions.

The functionality also include inquiry of registration, registration cancellation, patients, department, registration status of doctors, doctor schedule, and department’s registration status, as well as the statistical function by department and outpatient workload.
